Geoff Bailey, Ian Way and David Smith won through their divisional triples final.

Sadly they lost in the county quarter final. A great effort.

A note for Steve Lovell who joined the club from Bromley BC last season.

He appeared in no less than 3 divisional finals. Progressing through to the county quarters in the fours. Well done Steve.

In other competitions...

The ladies are progressing well in the Mollie Cleggett and the Belle Trophy.

An early club final - Ladies Two Wood - saw an all family final with Jeanette winning against daughter Linda. A great performance by Linda who is a relative newbie.

The season's opening supper on April 25th was well attended.

It coincided with Pat Walkinshaw's birthday who received a birthday cake with just a few candles.

On 2nd May the club welcomed Lancing for a fixture but it's always like a social.

The club charity benefited by £147.

The club celebrated VE Day 80 years on in style.

Members dressed in war time fashions enjoyed the sweet sounds of the visiting singer whose program included many war time favourites - it was if Vera Lynn was in the building. The event coincided with Martyn Grover's birthday - yes another birthday cake. We also bid farewell to Roger Dyer who is relocating to Devon, best wishes.

On 1st July afternoon tea was enjoyed by many members with food galore; sandwiches, scones with cream and jam - now what way around is it?
