Recent fund raising from the raffle held on the Opening Supper produced £202.
This added to the Xmas raffle that produced £211 totals £413 paid to the Salvation Army in April.
Additionally Ladies Captain Gail Barnes had organised the emptying of the collection boxes which produced a further £274 and was paid to the Salvation Army in April.
Total donated thus far (end of April '24) £687.

On Saturday May 4th the club hosted a visit from the local Network Scout Troop.
Organisers Roger Dyer and Martyn Grover were on hand to coach the group through their first experience of lawn bowls.
It was a great day, lots of enjoyment and good skills on show.
The group will be invited back for further taster sessions.
The social team organise an event most months.

All enjoyed the delicious roast lunch event held in February.
Then followed the Bingo Night held on the eve of St. Patrick's.
The big event in April was the season's Open Supper which attracted a full house of attendees. Much merriment with the extensive raffle raising £202 for the club's charity the Salvation Army
April is the end of a Prize Draw year - with the last draw happening on Open Supper evening when 5 lucky winners scooped a combined pot of £400.
Members are invited to join the new Prize Draw year - starting in May
