Start of 2025 season

The season kicked off on 19/4/25 with a mixed drive

Many volunteers participated in the working parties to prepare the club, green and facilities for the start of the season - A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL.

Special thanks go to Geoff Bailey who has worked tirelessly over the past month to convert the old storage hut into an excellent lady visitor’s changing facility.

Bar Team hard at work

The bar team of Ian Cuthbert, Val Currie and David Eagling moving into full operation mode in preparation for the new season. First there is the start of fortnightly stock takes. David places orders with the club's wholesale supplier, Swift of Redhill. Ian takes delivery of all Swift orders - checking that all orders are fulfilled.

Val performs on-line shopping with Sainsbury for all wines and some soft drinks. Sometimes Val or Ian have to whiz into Sainsbury to purchase low stock items.

David organises the monthly bar rota. The club is fortunate to have willing volunteers for this vital role of bar work... thank you to...

New prize draw starts in May

From April Jeanette and Malcolm Whitehead start the invitation process for members to join the new prize draw - which runs from May to April.

The renewal process gains momentum in late April, continues throughout May and the last pays on June 3rd. The end result is all 90 prize draw numbers are taken up.

Great job Jeantte and Malcolm - thank you for all you do.
